WOM to organise another on-line FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar for women only!

We are happy to announce that we are organising a 175th Internet Based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar for women in collaboration with the Polish Chess Federation. It will take place from 10th till 12th January 2025 and there shall be no fee for the participants.

This is yet another important initiative towards creating new job opportunities for women in the chess community around the world.

Our yearly arbiter’s seminars are opportunity for females in the chess world to acquire new skills and enhance their career prospects.

All information about the seminar

The 175th Internet-based FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar is going to be organized from 10/01/2025 to 12/01/2025 by the FIDE Commission for Women’s Chess and Poland Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer will be IA Nikolopoulos, Panagiotis (GRE), FIDE Lecturer, Assistant Lecturer will be IA Sorokina, Anastasia (AUS), and Local Assistant Lecturer will be IA Sokolski, Alexander (POL).

The language of the Seminar will be English.

The Seminar will give norms and titles of FIDE Arbiter, according to the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters.

Note: 20 participants, women only. Each continent (America, Africa, Asia, Europe) has a right to nominate 2 participants per continent (4 continents = 8 participants). Polish Chess federation as co-organizer has a right to nominate 2 participants. Participation by nomination first. In the case of free spaces organizers will accept individual participation. No fee for the participants.
