The FIDE Commission for Women’s Chess (WOM), in cooperation with the Albanian Chess Federation and the FIDE Events Commission (EVE), is pleased to announce an upcoming FIDE International Organizer Seminar to be held on 11–12 October 2025 in Durres, Albania, at the Grand Blue FAFA Resort Hotels.
The seminar aims to train and certify organizers of international chess events in accordance with FIDE regulations. Participants who successfully pass the final exam will receive an EVE IO norm certificate.
The seminar will be conducted in English by Ozgur Solakoglu (TUR), International Organizer, International Arbiter, and FIDE Trainer, assisted by Anastasia Sorokina (AUS), International Organizer and Woman International Master.
In support of women’s participation in chess administration, FIDE WOM is providing 12 free slots for female participants (10 for the first registered women and 2 nominated by the Albanian Chess Federation).
