The FIDE Women’s Commission, in cooperation with the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission, is pleased to announce a series of arbiter seminars organized within the framework of the FIDE Educational Year of Chess.
Following the remarkable interest in our previous seminars and the large number of applications received, we have decided to organize an extended educational series during the coming months.
The upcoming seminars will take place as follows:
- July – FIDE Arbiter Seminar
- August – International Arbiter Seminar
- September – FIDE Arbiter Seminar
We are especially happy to continue providing educational opportunities for women arbiters from all over the world and to support the development of arbiters within the global chess community.
Please note that due to the exceptionally high number of applications received for the previous seminars, not all interested participants could be accommodated. Therefore, we strongly encourage applicants not to delay their registrations.
Priority in the selection process will be given to:
- Applicants who previously registered for earlier seminars but could not be accepted due to limited capacity;
- Balanced continental representation;
- Individual applications based on remaining available places.
We kindly ask all participants to carefully review the specific regulations and requirements of each seminar individually before applying.
Each seminar will feature highly experienced and distinguished FIDE lecturers, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for all participants.
Further details, regulations, and registration information for each seminar will be published separately.
We look forward to welcoming arbiters from all federations to this exciting educational initiative.
