Women in Chess – FIDE Educational Year 2026: Advanced Swiss-Manager Seminar

Dear Ladies,

As part of the FIDE Educational Year 2026, we are delighted to announce an additional seminar to our already announced series of educational events organized by the FIDE Commission for Women’s Chess.

This special Advanced Swiss-Manager Seminar is designed specifically for experienced arbiters and pairing officers who wish to deepen their practical knowledge of Swiss-Manager and advanced tournament administration.

The seminar will be conducted by IA Michael Joseph Pagaran (PHI) (FIDE ID 5211980), International Arbiter, FIDE Instructor, experienced Pairings Officer, and lecturer at numerous international events and FIDE educational programs.

Participation fee: Free of charge
Number of participants: 30

Please note: This seminar is intended for advanced Swiss-Manager users only.

To be eligible, applicants should meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • Have served as a Pairings Officer in at least three rated tournaments; or
  • Have served as a Chief Arbiter in at least three rated tournaments.

This requirement is mandatory, as the seminar will focus on advanced Swiss-Manager functions, practical tournament management, troubleshooting, pairings verification, and complex operational scenarios.
